Speeding things up

FlowJo v10 has a number of performance settings to help you utilize more RAM, more processing cores, and additional hardware available for your specific computer. The preference settings are described here. Some additional discussion points are address on this daily dongle post.

Change Preferences

Adding to the layout legend

Double click on the legend in the layout editor to open the interface that will provide options to edit. All the features available in legends are provided here. If you want to specifically add statistics, view the bottom of the page linked above.

Overlay Populations

Overlays are done in the layout editor. Simply drag a sample into the layout editor and then drag another sample or population from the workspace on top of an existing graph in the layout editor. For more information, click here.

Adjust the Scale

The scale of the parameter can be altered using the T button in the graph window. Updates to scaling and transformation propagate to the image in the layout editor as well. Adding Statistics to Samples

To add a statistic or statistics to samples in the workspace, open the statistic interface. Information on statistics can be found here.

Graphs in the layout editor

To place plots into the layout editor, just drag and drop samples or populations from the workspace into the layout editor window. For more details, please go here.

Statistics in the Table Editor
