The Vertical Alignment band in the Layout Editor allows the user to make changes to the way figures are vertically situated in the layout. With options to align figures to the top or bottom margins, center them, or space them evenly from top to bottom, using this toolbar is an efficient way to neatly organize your layout for presentation.

Top

Clicking this icon with a figure selected moves that figure flush against the top margin of the layout. You can align several figures to the top margin simultaneously by clicking this icon when multiple figures are selected.

Bottom

Clicking this icon with a figure selected moves that figure flush against the bottom margin of the layout. You can align several figures to the bottom margin simultaneously by clicking this icon when multiple figures are selected.

Center

Clicking this icon centers the selected figure evenly between the top and bottom margins of the layout. You can center multiple figures at once by clicking this icon with several images selected.

Spacing

When multiple figures are selected, clicking this icon will space them them at even intervals between the left and right margins of the layout. The more figures that are selected, the smaller the spacing between each image will be.
