The multivariate cell cycle platform produces population statistics for the user designated number of populations. This page is under construction; stay tuned for FlowJo Version 10 with Cell Cycle.
The multivariate cell cycle platform identifies up to 8 populations using up to 6 parameters. For an explanation about how the model works, see the help page on the multivariate cell cycle model. For each of those populations FlowJo reports:
- A Median Fluorescent Intensity (MFI) for all parameters used.
- The covariance matrix.
- The percent of events assigned to each population relative to the parent population.
These statistics are placed in a table within the model window, with the colors and labels matching the graphic portion of the model window as shown in Figure 1. Each population can be passed to the workspace using the ‘Create Gates’ button within the multidimensional EM platform window. The user can add any additional statistic in the traditional way through the statistics band.
